Lyn Brown MP celebrates Upton Cross Primary School’s ‘Outstanding’ OfSTED Report

West Ham MP, Lyn Brown, attended a celebration of Upton Cross Primary School’s OfSTED results on Friday 16 January. The School received an ‘Outstanding’ rating in its most recent report.

The school’s pupil ambassadors also gave Lyn a tour, showing her the class displays, the IT suite and introduced her to a number of classes in the school. Lyn spent time observing the classes and listened to a story about Trolls and bridges.

As part of the celebration Lyn participated in a question time, facing tough questions by some budding Jeremy Paxman’s. Questions ranged from her day to day activities to her reaction and actions concerning the situation in Gaza.

Lyn Brown MP said,

“I was very pleased to attend Upton Cross Primary School, it was the highlight of my day. The school has done very well to receive its high OfSTED rating and after meeting the staff and pupils I know it is well deserved. I enjoyed the question and answer session very much; they were all intelligent and often thought provoking questions.”
